Cool In Black On a Hot Summer Day

There's been a lot of buzz about prints over the last few years, but I have to say, nothing looks fresher, leaner, cooler, cleaner than a black swimsuit on a hot, summer day.  Black looks fantastic on all skin tones, it certainly doesn't make one's figure look larger than normal and DAMN, it's just so freakin' chic!  One-piece, or bikini, it doesn't matter...they both look killer.  Here are some of my favorite black swimsuits for 2012:

Bitty Bottoms Are Turning Heads

Minimal bottoms are back!  OK, maybe they've never left, but we are now seeing a stronger demand for the itty bitty back side.  Is this a sign of better times?  (Kind of like hemlines?)  I don't know, but for those of you who love to show off the derriere, you'll want to shop some of the new swimwear brands, such as Salt, Tori Praver, SAHA and Boy + Arrows.  Of course, let's not forget the label that started it all...Salinas .

Breaking Down The Blues...The Moody Hue For This Year's Swimsuit Line-Up

From clear skies, to coral reef shallows to deep, mysterious ocean, the blues are inspired by all things natural, all things water.  It's certainly my favorite swimsuit color.  It looks good on every skin tone, but especially on a tan, or darker complexion.  Here's a few "blues" for your pleasure:

Sittin' Sweet in the Sand With SAHA Swimwear

SAHA Swimwear is another one of our new lines this season.  I took a good look at the line last season, but with moving and all, I had to take them off the list.  They did some pretty cute stuff this year, so we went with a couple of their bikinis and cute one piece swimsuit for 2012.

Their look is fairly young.  I think that the mid-teen will enjoy their choice of fabrics and cuts, although the, "Happy Tears," bikini would definitely appeal to someone a little older.
